Reunion

The British pop band Take That split up years ago and were reunited in 2005. Now the Spice Girls who split up in 2001 are now reunited. What's it all about? Is it because the group want to cash in or is it about love.

When both bands split up, each member went solo or got involved in their own different projects until eventually they were drawn to make music again. Even Geri Halliwell, the first to leave the Spice Girls, has been accepted as part of the group.

I happen to love both Take That and the Spice Girls and I like to think that it was the love the singers and the fans had for the music that brought them back together so they could create more music. Love is like that - it heals all ideas of separation and brings people who love being together. So what if the bands and record companies make pots of money out of it? At least they're making millions of fans happy; everyone's a winner.

I would love to see the Spice Girls in concert; it would be a lot of fun.

Recently, I was reunited with an old friend. Unlike the aforementioned pop groups, he wasn't someone I've met before in this lifetime but I've always known him. We had arranged to be separated so we could get involved in our own pet projects and be reunited when the time was right. Now that we've been reunited I'm not letting him out of my sight. I know we are here to make great music together

I love reunions.
